It may not always be necessary to carry out a full survey. If a management survey is already in place, and only minor works are to be undertaken, we can provide a localised survey focussing on the immediate area to be refurbished / demolished.
The protocol is the same as for full refurbishment / demolition surveys except that it focuses only on the immediate area to be disturbed during the proposed works. A full sampling programme may be undertaken to identify the extent of any asbestos containing materials, although the condition need not be assessed, other than noting any damage and debris, as one of the purposes for this type of survey is to provide a basis for tendering the removal of asbestos materials.
